Yeana Kim
C.M.D., R.Ac.
Doctor of Chinese Medicine & Registered Acupuncturist

Raised in a family of Chinese Medicine doctor, Yeana was treating her first "patients" long before she wore a white coat - shadowing her parent on domestic and overseas volunteer missions and absorbing the art of East-Asian healing from the ground up. That early immersion shaped a life-long calling to restore balance and vitality for every person she meets.
Yeana completed her Diploma of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at PCU College of Holistic Medicine and earned a diploma in Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Tzu Chi international College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver. She is a fully licensed Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac.) and Doctor of Chinese Medicine (C.M.D.), prescribing Chinese herbal medicine.
As a Registered Acupuncturist, Yeana provides personalized, patient-centered care with specialties in:
musculoskeletal pain
women's health
fertility
pregnancy support
cosmetic acupuncture
stress-related conditions
Over the years, she has delivered thousands of treatments across British Columbia in rural primary care, multidisciplinary rehabilitation, and women's health clinics. Her experience includes treating acute and chronic pain, sports injuries, motor vehicle accident recovery, headaches, neck and back pain, menstrual concerns, digestive complaints, stress, anxiety, and sleep disorders.
Yeana is particularly passionate about helping individuals and couples throughout their fertility journey, including natural conception, IVF, pregnancy support, and postpartum recovery. As a mother herself, she understands both the physical and emotional challenges that can accompany pregnancy and parenthood, and strives to provide compassionate, individualized care.
Every treatment plan is tailored to the patient's needs and may incorporate acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, traditional Chinese herbal medicine, and other complementary therapies when appropriate. Her goal is to help patients relieve pain, restore balance, improve function, and support long-term health in a calm, welcoming environment.
